Living Spiritually - by upma

You Asked For What You Got

One part of your psyche longs for serenity and peace. The images in your mind are neatly geared toward fulfillment, happiness, all that stuff. Then why is there still drama in your life?

If chaos is ruling and ruining your inner happiness, maybe you should take a little time to examine the motives hidden behind your motives. What you're getting might only be what you think you're asking for.

An everyday example: You've already told your neighbor you'd take her along to the grocery store whenever you go. You need a few things, she comes with. You're finished, but
comedy and drama masks

she needs more time. Drama starts to take shape. The extra time you spend waiting for her to finish isn't fitting into your plans. Drama builds. You're a bit annoyed and in a hurry to get home, you back your car into the one behind you in the parking lot. Drama rules.

Is this a case of "no good deed goes unpunished" or an issue of motives gone awry? Definitely motives gone awry. Your motives behind your motives probably need adjustment. You asked for what you got.

Peace

Interesting article.

It is true that when you allow something to spoil your motive it means you are not focused.

Do have some time to visit my latest article about purpose of life and tell me what you think about it? Thanks!

Thought provoking question. Right now, though, I'm getting very tired and I'm not focused enough to answer. It's on tomorrow's to do list, though.

It is ok. Just read and give some comments when you have time. ^_^

Hope you will feel less fatigue soon.
