That's right, it's all about you, baby! Every little thing in this great big Universe is about little ole' you! And don't you ever forget it.
You're probably your own best kept secret and the ironic thing is you're so good at keeping that secret from yourself.
It's not an empty and tired cliche that everything you need is within you. Why would anyone make up something like that? Think about it, philisophers for thousands of years, across the oceans and deserts and back again have been teaching that we each have within us the power to heal. Listen to them and listen to what your own spirit so eagerly wants to tell you. That power, that spirit lives in every soul and, most importantly to you, it lives in your soul.
No one need to worry, feel anxious or depressed, be angry or hurt. No one need to feel anything but the well-living feelings of complete serenity, peace, harmony.
For sure, the discord and chaos and drama outside of us really likes to belt away at our fragile phyches. And yes, the fragility of the phyche in trauma wants to run around weilding a sword and yelling 'death to the infidels'. If you're there, there's only one question: How's that workin' for ya so far?
There's a prayer that I pray every day. It's a prayer that, quite basically, asks that my spirit be always in tune with the Spirit of the Universe. I don't always let it work, but it always works.
